GIS Based Property Tax Information System
Before Computerisation of Property Tax Information System Streets and Properties in the ULB limits were surveyed and Street Naming, Numbering and Property Numbering were carried out in a scientific manner. The Property Details like Plinth area, Building Structure, Built Up area, ownership Details, occupant details and Tax details are captured as MIS Database during individual Property Survey. ULB ward maps are prepared with property polygons and digitized after the approval of Numbering Scheme by Survey of India, Bangalore, who is Technical Assistance and Support Agency for implementation of schematic GIS in 49 NN ULBs. Remaining ULBs are taken up under KMRP in two phases: Phase-1 will cover 74 ULBs, Phase-II will cover remaining 90 ULBs.
Property Tax software application computerizes the revenue department of a ULB and provides an entire IT system that manages properties and their taxation. The GIS Based Property Tax Information System aims to streamline the process of property tax collection, improve the record keeping of properties, increase the tax compliance rates and enable the Govt. Officials to make informed decisions, bring transparency to the Property Collections in the ULB.

Field Survey of all the properties in the ULB.
Preparation of digitised ward maps with individual properties having a unique property ID Number.

Sound Database of all the properties.
Can generate MIS reports at City, Ward, Street levels as decision support tools for the revenue department to analyse the Various properties Tax Payment.
Automatic calculation of the property tax demand based on the CVS methods.
Generation of Bank Deposit Challans and the Khirdi reports.
Can handle Office, Bank and Field payments, with the ability to integrate with Credit Card and ATM systems.
